Traveling to La Port County

I am planning on traveling to La Porte County Indiana. I was wondering if there was any local laws regarding carrying that I should know about before hand. Any information would be welcome.

Indiana state law preempts any local laws, so just follow the state law. Indiana recognizes all state's handgun licenses/permits/whatever for open or concealed carry. You must have a license to carry/transport a handgun in this state. Hit the state website for the specifics. IC 35.2.something for the handgun laws.
