I don't think it has an effect on anything, but I just wanted to be sure.

I usually bring my 92FS into CA when I visit. The micro-stamp law only applies to selling new guns right?

Also, what is the penal code number for the micro-stamping bill?

Only new but it is not enforceable until the technology becomes available. I dont have all the source available. But you can go to the states attorney general website and see the text.
