It's a damn shame that hardly anyone knows what it truly represents.

It isn't a great united effort. It is a desire to be left alone to tend to one's own business. The SEVERAL STATES independently, not as some gigantic, federal empire.

Even if the people take back the government, it will still be a gigantic, centralized, nationalist entity.

The Gadsden wasn't even remotely about that.
