Law change - Grand Canyon and other National Parks

I've been trying to find out how the change applies to us here in Arizona.

Do you need a ccw to have a gun in a National Park, or is it just that the state laws apply and open carry is allowed?

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but most of the news covers so many states with different laws that it's hard to filter out the right answer. :banghead:

The laws of the state of Arizona now apply toward gun carry in national parks within Arizona. Carry is still prohibited in certain buildings within the national park but according to NPS they will be posted with an appropriate signage.

Open carry is absolutely allowed (in Arizona, where is legal and preempted statewide). I exercised my right yesterday!

(You still cannot enter "federal facilities", so for example, at the Coronado National Memorial, below, I could not have gone into the Visitors' Center. Not like I ever go in there anyway.)
