For those that use this flyer, an updated version is now available in place of the old link.

Two changes were made. First, the old flyer stated that carry was not allowed in National Parks, and as we all know by now that has changed.

Second, the flyer used to contain the following sentance: "PC 374c makes shooting from any public road illegal, which triggers 12031(f)." Given 51 Ops.Cal.Atty.Gen. 197, 200 (1968), People v Knight, and People v Segura, that statement was clearly incorrect. 374c does not trigger 12031(f).

While correct, I hope there's some disclaimer that the law may still be misapplied. (I don't have time to read the flyer right now... gotta get back to work.)

In the place where that sentence used to be, I still state the following:

Most counties have ordinances prohibiting shooting near roads, residences, etc. This effectively makes carrying loaded illegal in all but the most remote areas of unincorporated territory.
