We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. I just dropped the DAO hammer back into the 64.
No problems with that hammer.
I'll play around with the busted DA/SA hammer (nose) this week.
I been playing around with S&W hammer noses since 1984.

Any good source for a DAO hammer? I'm thinking of making one of the 64s into a car/carry gun, and adding a Barami hip grip and Tyler T-Grip. Why not?

Dropped by Fri morning and picked up a Rossi 971 .357 with the thought of it being available for the wife at home.... it cleaned up nicely. I went back on Sat with my father-in-law and got her a S&W 10. He bought a pair of 10s for himself while we were there.
If I have time, I'll try to dig them back out and grab a shot after the kids are out!

Here's the pinned & recessed 65-2 I picked up on Friday:
And the no-lock DA/SA 64-3 I picked up this AM:
I'll be heading out to Clark Brother's Weds AM to see how they shoot. I might be interested in a trade if anyone has a J-Frame they'd like to part with...
