Dear T Dubya,

Get this. The gun lobby wants to allow loaded guns into bars and into emergency shelters where displaced families gather. These are just some of the examples of the outrageous measures in this year's Virginia legislature.
We need to put a stop to this madness.

Here are the bills we need to defeat in this committee:
HB 171: Forces businesses to allow loaded guns in the workplace

HB 505:
Allows loaded guns in bars

HB 1070: Allows loaded guns into emergency shelters

HB 49: Repeals restrictions on bulk purchases on handguns

HB 69: Exempts guns made and sold only in Virginia from federal background checks and other federal gun laws
The last thing we need is more Virginians "packing heat" in our cities and neighborhoods.
Please contact the committee TODAY and tell them to OPPOSE these dangerous bills.

Sincerely,

I like how they think purchasing two handguns is a "bulk" purchase.

Do they equate to buying two boxes of cereal at Safeway to shopping at Costco?

Well, the 2nd Ammendment clearly states, "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, unless they buy more than one per month."

This one is just an outright lie. It just says your employer can't forbid you from leaving a gun locked in your car while you are at work.

You know it's almost comical. If "our side" puts out an e-mail with a glaring error, I'm sure people e-mail PVC or whomever, right away, and it's fixed. [Not to mention, "our" errors are actual mistakes, not intentional deceptions.]

It's like these guys think their supporters are either too stupid to see through the lies, or apathetic enough to not even care to fact check. I'd be real proud if I were them.

Haha, "HB 49: Repeals restrictions on bulk purchases on handguns". I wish I could afford a pallet full of Glock 19s. Or go into a BJ's and pick up a gross of Sigs.

Ya.I'm bummed that I have bills and other expenses that I'm unable to spend my entire paycheck on guns.

The loaded language(no pun intended) they use is simply stupid.

All,

It never fails to amaze me, that "Brady" people are so willing to "stick to their guns", when it comes to gun control. All the evidence shows that areas that have the most control over gun ownership, experience the highest crime rates. States that protect the open and concealed carry rights of their citizens, experience the lowest crime rates.

The Brady people and the other gun control groups have no interest in lowering crime. Their only interest is in control of the citizenry.

Who would need to buy more than one box of Cheerios a month?

Well, see, I don't like Cheerios. They scare me.

So I am going to work to get a law passed that says you can't eat Cheerios, either, no matter how much you like them.
