I got the following email from a member showing the pattern of hiding
Eileen Filler-Corn's anti-gun credentials:

-

Philip,

Thanks for sending this information out. I am in the 41st, and I
actually had a good talk with one of Filler-Corn's canvassers who came
to my door yesterday. After he introduced himself I neutrally asked,
"what is her position on the gun-related bills in Richmond right
now?" Maybe he had seen the NRA Life Member decal on my truck, but he
quickly went to explain that:

1. He is from Springfield, MA and canvasses professionally. (Why do
I want someone from Mass. helping me decide to vote?)
2. He wouldn't be here if she were in support of gun control. He said
his father worked for Springfield Arms for 20+ years.
3. He said Eileen Filler-Corn's husband owns guns in the home, and
stated she is pro-2nd Amendment. [PVC: Of course anti-gun Senator
Chuck Schumer from New York claims to support the 2nd Amendment - it
just means something very different to him than it does to you or me.]

I asked him if this was the case, why didn't she respond to the VCDL
survey? Being from Massachusetts, he had no idea what VCDL is. He
said he was meeting Eileen later in the day, and wrote down VCDL's
website stating he would bring it up with her.

He seemed like a nice enough guy, but it only adds to the concern that
the anti-gun pays hired guns to lie about her stance on guns.

All the best,
Mike

In case you wonder where Filler-Corn is getting her money to run, here
is a list of donors. Of particular note, the Coalition to Stop Gun
Violence donated $1,000 to her.

She's certainly getting money from somewhere. She has yard signs everywhere. She has the REALLY BIG yard signs in the medians. And they are the same quality as those used during the Presidential elections.

Is anyone here willing to go to the local victory center tonight and make calls on behalf of Kerry?

Would be very interesting to determine whether she, her family or any senior staff has a CHP - it is still public information. :)

I don't think caught is the right term. This [insert 5-letter word for female dog here] is not afraid to spew her anti-firearm drivel.

There has been a report of a voting precinct being closed when it should have been open. Did that prevent votes and change the outcome?

I have no other details.

Did you notice your posts kind of disappeared after a couple of hours? With no response I might add.

Governor McDonnell has invites Filler-Corn to dinner:

McDonnell calls Filler-Corn, invites her to dinner

"Eileen has worked for two governors. She knows Richmond, and the issues facing our state, well,'' McDonnell said in a statement this afternoon. "She will be a positive voice for the citizens of the 41st District and I look forward to working with her in the years ahead."

It s just a political maneuver - welcoming the newly "elected."

We've seen this dance before - doesn't mean a thing.
