im just curious... how does this expensive hotel, barely 1000 ft from the border, not get over run by the cartel? i would think kidnapping rich people would be a hot topic there. being that it is so expensive to stay there i cant imagine these "out of towners" having alot of fire power with them to prevent such an attack.

It probably does.

My experience in 'good neighborhoods' is that there actually is a LOT of crime there, it just gets swept under the rug to keep the property value up.
