I have noticed that many if not most of the shootings of criminals by victims have been younger thugs being shot by the elderly. It seems there's a pattern here.

seems that the elderly have more guts than most men in their 30's today..
Exo 22:2 "If anyone catches a thief breaking in and hits him so that he dies, he is not guilty of murder.
Luke 22:36: "Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one." Luk 11:21 "When a strong man, with all his weapons ready, guards his own house, all his belongings are safe.

"Elderly, should they OC or CC?"

    Yes.

Yes... us elderly should carry both openly and concealed!
Gun control isn't about the gun at all.... for those who want gun control it is all about their own fragile egos, their own lack of self esteem, their own inner fears, and most importantly... their own desire to dominate others. And an openly carried gun is a slap in the face to all of those things.

Yes, bring back the dreaded cane-gun; or maybe a Colt "Walker" Dragoon .

How about one of those walkers the frail oldsters use to get around? Think of it!!! 4 barrels!

If the old fart can lift the walker high enough to point it at the bad guy.....

My apologies to my fellow old farts.

my dad is 71 years old and still keeps a gun for protection. He always had loaded guns in different rooms on the farm growing up and he always said....if you grab it be prepared to use it.

Watch some of the other videos of this guy. He has a history/treatment for mental illness. He was also arrested at a ball park for bringing liquor into the stadium. He of course was tased by the cops while he was on the floor...typical. I'm not so sure he should carry a gun.
