Rainier and south Henderson, is not a nice place to be at night, hell even during the daytime. I used to go swim at the rainier community center couple times a week with a friend. Saw those hoodrats, they just hang out there leaning on the rail on the side of the street and mug at everyone that went by. I am not surprised at this, but this makes me angry. These punkass "southenders" do not have any boundaries, a disabled man who cannot speak?

#$^$% OISDHFN AIDSLJKFIOSRD GB KAD B;OIASROISRGGFBIDD

THIS PISSES ME OFF SO MUCH.

You think these punkasses will leave your daughters and sons alone? Get off your ass and support HB 3082, I PERSONALLY know young adults that have to deal with this crap in this area.

I hate to say but, years agoI got beat up one night off Rainier. I'm not sure exactly where it was -it was 1 block off Rainier, maybe around S Waldon St. I had not begun carrying a gun at that time in my life.

Please understand that I was not very tactically or mentally prepared at that time in my life. I understand that and accept it.

I was escorting 4 girls back to their car after a wedding. We had all been drinking, some more than others. The girl's car was parallel-parked in front of mine. As soon as we got to the cars, I noticed a white 2-door car at the stop sign about a half block away - lights on, just sitting there. I knew it was bad news. We said our good-byes and I kept my eye on that car the whole time.

The girls got in their car and waited for me to get in mine. As soon as I shut my door, the white car left the stop sign and pulled past my car (blocking me in) and pulled up along side the girls. I got out of my car as the guys were verbally harassing the girls. The driver was white and the passenger black. I stood by the rear window of their car and said "guys, the girls are not interested". As soon as I said that, the passenger got out of the car and grabbed me. He hit me in the face, left cheek, and that's the last I remember. I fell to the ground.

The girls told me that they screamed at the guys and the guys drove off. I eventually got up with the girls' help. They were traumatized and wanted me to drive them home. We left my car and I drove them all home. When I returned the next day to get my car, I was shocked at the sight of an 18"bloodpuddle where I had been hit the night before. My whole cheek was bruised and starting to turn black and blue. The inside of my cheek was cut from front to back with the outline of my teeth. Those cuts inside my cheek were extremely painful for a long time, until they fully healed.

The first time I was only 20 ( 25 now ) and didn't obniously have a gun. Me and my girl@ the time had just left the cinima on 6th and pike near the cheesecake factory. We left after the move around 11:30 pm and as we're walking out there was 5 young black guys and they started whooting @ my girl...no problem.....then one said hey white boy howw about I take your shit from you...I told my girls to run to the car and call 911... ( I'm not a chump so they would fight me to take my hard earned money! ) anyways I pulled out my pocket knife ans said " if ya really want it that bad, come get it" so the closed in on me. First guy grabbed my left arm wile the 2nd swung @ my face. The 1st guy caught a pretty nice slash to his right cheek... afterr he yelled to his boys " get the heat " I knew I was $#!t out of luck and the other three decended on me both produced pistols and asked if I wanted to die whit boy? I sad id rathe that then get punked by some pu$$ys.....any was we tumboled for about 30 more seconds befor SPD rolled up and drew down on everybody including my self ( as I still had the knife and one guy in my grasp ) I'm not promoting violene of even being the hero type, but I wasn't going to be an easy victome from some losers!

I wouldn't have made the antagonizing statement of "come and get it" but rather kept walking. 99% chance they would have tried something anyway, but at least if you had a firearm you'd walk away scot-free if you needed to use it.

Edit: Post number 222!

I'm going to try to make this short. I was at a bus shelter going home one night, accross the street from the bank, and right in front of the community center, it was about 11pm. I was coming home from a church youth-group thing. All of sudden, 6 Samoans surround me, and rob me at knife point. The leader said "im going to stab you tonight, and you're going to die". Right then, my bus pulled up, and i pushed past them and got on. went home and went to sleep.

I have a ton of shitty stories from that place.

I was 14 years old at the time. It sucked. That whole area is like, the asshole of Seattle. Glad I got out before something worse happened. BTW, I'm Caucasian, not a smart place to be...

i used to work security at the lake washington aprtments a few years back. i carried 3 guns on me and still didnt feel comfortable down there. my first week of securty, my partner got ran over by a uhaul truck. he broke his hip and femur and hes permanently disabled because of that. i drew down on the driver but didnt have a clean shot. ive chased car thievs out of there before and almost been in 2 shootings. one night, i heard someone popping off about 10 rounds about 2 blocks away. not all the people down there are bad people, there were some great people that i got to know but many.
