Suffolk man charged with shooting at ex-girlfriend's home.

http://www.wtkr.com/news/wtkr-suffolk-man-shoots-at-girlfriends-home,0,1384797.story

David Meacham Jr., age 41, is now behind bars after Suffolk police say he drove by and fired shots into his ex-girlfriend's home on Great Fork Road shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday night. One bullet pierced the home.

"We heard the motor rev by and then we heard the shot just like that, but you couldn't tell it was a gunshot," said 19-year-old Dave Clifton, whose mother is Meacham's ex-girlfriend.

Clifton says the bullet was meant to go into his mother's front bedroom window. The family did not realize what happened until they said Meacham called.

"The next morning he called and said, I was trying to kill your a**, that's why I rode by and shot your house up," Clifton said.

The family called police who arrested Meacham at his Whaleyville home on Longstreet Lane. During the investigation police found six rifles, three handguns, and hudreds of rounds of ammunition.

The stash of guns is illegal because Meacham is a convicted felon.

"She's said she tried to get away but he threatened to kill her and kill himself," Clifton said.

Dave Clifton said he, along with four of his teenaged friends, his mother, and another adult were in the home at the time of the shooting.

He says his mother and Meacham have had an on-again, off-again relationship for three years.

NewsChannel 3 has confirmed with Suffolk police that there is a history of domestic violence calls to the home in the past involving Meacham and his ex-girlfriend. Now the family fears the worst if Meacham is released.

"She thinks when he gets out, which he probably will, he is going to come for her and kill her and probably come for us and kill us, try to," Dave Clifton added.

For now, Meacham is locked up with no bond.

When will the Anti bunch and bleeding heartslearn CRIMINALS DON"T CARE ABOUT THE LAWS:banghead::banghead:

But the politicians have to "Do something."

If the politicians make all of us suffer, then they can claim, "We did something. Now we have to do more."

The point is not to stop crime but create a never ending need for more and more government control over our lives.

This be the road to serfdom.

Based on this statement and this statement alone...
The stash of guns is illegal because Meacham is a convicted felon.

It should be years before he sees the outside of a jail cell.

We're already serfs.

We're just moderately-armed and vigilant serfs.

Don't think for a moment we have the civil authority handed down by the framers. Don't pay your property taxes. See what they come and take first.
