I will upload some pictures from today's event later today.

BBC brought a crew to SE Wisconsin and shot hours and hours of video ranging from me grocery shopping with my girlfriend to some range time (typical media wanted to hear the guns go boom) and the a VERY well attended lunch at Thunder Bay Grille in Waukesha.

35+ people open-carrying at Lunch. Men, Women, old, young, and everything in between. Some people brought their young children which was great!

Show should run tomorrow (Thursday March 11th) on the BBC America Channel at 7pm.

Edit: according to local cable guide, BBC American news runs at 6pm. segment will likely run at 6pm (producer said 7 eastern AND central, but I think its 7 Eastern 6 Central time
The producer is sending me a DVD and I will upload it to youtube as soon as I get it.

I checked tomorrows BBC America schedule. All times are central: 5pm-Ramsays Kitchen Nightmare, 6pm-BBC World News America, 7pm-2am - Kitchen Nightmares.

So, I am thinking 6pm central it is. For anyone in the Milwaukee area with AT&T Uverse, BBC America is channel 188.

Whew, Nik's wife is so ugly! God, no wonder he carries a gun in public, he needs something to distract people from looking at the ol' leather mitt he calls a wife.

Reading the comments under the BBC article, it's amazing how little the Brit's understand about our constitution, culture and political views.

A lot of them pull the "Right Wing Wacko" card out of their sleeves right away (as wouldmany of oursocialists). It's even funnier that I know Nik is far from it. I am annoyed that they don't understand that more freedom = less security or that they just don't have the balls to accept that. Maybe they just don't want it? An animal in a cage all of it's life doesn't know how good it feels to be free; and maybe won't leave when you open the door. It's awefully scary out there.

I hate that they think that "we the people" wanted all ofthe wars that have happened and they don't realize that it was our goverment, the very government most of us want to have less power, whocaused some ofthem.

So they thinkwe should just let the goverment tell us what is best like their goverment does for them. If our goverment was left uncontrolled by the people it would be truly scary for the rest of the world.

They clamor that they get "free" health care and that it's somehow our "fault" that we don't have it without ever stopping to think that a lot of us don't want it.

I'm saddened that our brothers across the pond have largely become sniveling impotents, subject tothe whim of their goverment.

Brass Magnet, I have to say in my personal experience more freedom = less of a false sense of security, not actual security. A recent ban of OC in my work place has left me with less freedom and less actual security, while providing the bigot who prompted the ban with a definite boost to his false sense of security. More freedom = more responsibility, that is what they fear in my opinion.

I agree, I oversimplified it, at least as it pertains to OC.

It's true though that in theory; if we were absolutely controlled by the goverment (which is what England seems to be going for) we'd be secure, from everything but that goverment.
