This event is still two weeks away, if there's only a few who plan to attend, maybe we can just meetat a restaurant in the Flint area that's centrally located for everyone.

Are there any places to eat in the Flint area that have tables setup outside preferably under a canopy? A&W, Sonic, McD's, Arby's, Etc?

Just throwing something out there...

im going offroading alot this summer,even an overland expedition through the appalachians,in addition to my offroad trip to Harlan KY,Moab UT and drummond island.

and camping,most likely in the hiawatha nat'l forest near manistique.

anybody interested in an OC camping trip?

Back to topic, I am willing to meet at the park or meet up somewhere else.

I DO NOT have a cpl so if I am to carry anything but an empty holster we have to pick somewhere alchohol free.

Why? did I miss something, the Liquor commission does not control this park. you can open carry there.

We were talking about meeting up somewhere else if not many people were going to show up. thus my no cpl rant, also I am commited as long as something don't come up that day I will be there (something being work)

There are already events scheduled for May 15th, check the events calendar before making the decision for the date. I for one don't mind multiple events but don't be discouraged with a low turnout on multiple event schedules.

I would not count on this event to take place LaVere, at least not on May 1st. There has been too much going on lately in the month of April for most members to be interested in this event. I think the event should be made sometime in June when there's more time for members to prepare for it. Also, I would suggest a park that is more to the West and to the South to make the event more centralized in an attempt to increase attendance.

Also, If I don't change the date for the event soon on MOC, it will lost in the Past Events. I'm going to change the date for now so we don't lose the existing schedule.
