Sat around at Starbucks for about an hour today, t'was the rain that had everyone inside, perhaps.

Sorry I haven't been online as much, no regular internet access, but I've been OC'in my socks off. Popped my Walmart cherry, and been back a few times. Some places I've been OC recently:

Best Buy, City Hall, Walmart, any gas station, Dollar General, Walgreens, Cingular store, SHELBY COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY STRAW POLL at Hoover Veterans Park, Starbucks lol, Mexican restaurant, this other restaurant on a busy Saturday night for a "Campaign for Liberty" group meetup, Express Oil Change, recent Gun Show at BJCC, and I've ridden my motorcycle every other day or so while OC...pretty much anywhere that was not work related, I've been OC'ing.

I spoke to three cops about OC WHILE OCING at the gun show. One of them wanted a pamphlet. I'm gonna go knock on some wood, but I've literally had NO PROBLEMS while OC'ing about 90% of the time. For three months or so straight.

See ya'll next week?Got a buddy of mine that wants to check it out.

Well, I finally made it to a meet-up! It was mcdonalk, Kirbinator, Jonathon, and myself. Exciting stuff. I learned a lot:
  • Stewardesses can fly all they want for free.
  • The LE community, for the most part, does not get it.
  • Stay away from Pike county.
  • If you don't have any change, you're a racist.
  • Stay far away from Pike county.
  • Even a blind man will notice an AK-47 in the open.
  • Stay far, far away from Pike county.
  • Always park facing downhill.
  • Judge Dredd would wet himself in Pike county.
It was a lot of fun. I hope I can make it next week.

For anyone who is curious, and even if you're not, we had the pleasure of talking with a retired deputy sheriff from Pike county. I think that was the county he worked for, anyway, because that's the county he kept warning us away from...

He could be our poster child for everything we are trying to change. He hit all the stereotypes:

"Oh, I know the law."
"The sheriffs have all the power"
"It's not legal in MY county."
"Yeah, the State says it's okay but there are county and municipal laws."
"They'll confiscate your gun, charge you with whatever they want and find a way to make it stick."

And if anyone was wondering, Judge Hightower is so strict he sentenced his wife to 6 months in jail for reckless driving. Soooo... yeah. Stay away from Pike County. :banghead:

I wonder if there's a Starbucks or a Golden Corral down that way...

I won't be there either. Gotta honor Dad today; he's the one who taught me the importance of being armed in the first place.

Wouldn't it be awesome if every gun owner in the Birmingham metro area showed up to the same place at the same time?

For instance, this Saturday at 1:00 pm at the Starbucks at 5-points South?

I can dream...
