I printed off a bunch of flyers and set them up at the entrance, yesterday during lunch. I'll go by today and make sure we're still stocked sufficiently.

I called GM to get the seminar on the Michigan events web-page. They gave me a phone number which I called yesterdayand left a voicemail on. No response yet.

The people I talked to said it is up to the store manager... so far mine isn't up yet either and I have asked twice... :(

And, coincidentally, I just got done speaking with the Novi manager, Pam. Her office admin (who normally takes care ofposting events to the web)is out today, but she said she'll "give it a whirl" and try to get it posted today. I told her to use the Utica posting as a model and change it where necessary (location and date).

Are we staffed well enough for this event? I'd be happy to step up or remain an alternate if help is needed.

Also, if we hold an OCseminar at the Taylor Gander Mtn I'd like to be a part of that as well.

We can never have too many volunteers. If there are enough in the room then you can always staff the table outside the room or just walk the store OCing and answering questions!!

And thank you for offering!

My wife is due any day now with our first childso I can't make the Novi one, but I'd love to help out at a Taylor one too. I think thats a really good location for a future seminar.

It just occured to me that I don't know if they have a room in which to hold a class.

The GM website advertises free informational seminars for the Taylor store.

Is that the Kiddie Fest in Durand that Lil_freak_66 is coordinating?

wasn.t john suppose to do the presentation? Is this at risk?

In the recent thread from the acting MOC President, autosurgeon said he had it from John that John would still be doing the Novi presentation.

Well, I planned on attending and would still like to, however, I may not be able to as the wife has some...unavoidable plans that day, and as we are a one car home, I might not be able to make it if she does end up needing the car. I'm not 100% sure right now, but that's where my attendance stands :(
