    Macomb Township repeals, amends firearms ordinances

    In response to requests from members and supporters of Michigan Open Carry Inc., the Macomb Township Board of Trustees voted to repeal and amend ordinances regarding firearms transportation and possession on March 10.

    Michigan preemption applies to all firearms.

    This ordinance is still unlawful as written.

    Called and gave a headsup to the township lawyer about the errors still in the ordinance.

    Also thanked him told him we appreciated their working on this issue.

    This is a HUGE win for MOC and open carry. This is one to celebrate folks, it's why we do what we do!!!
