[suP]Are you Open Carrying regularly? Do you grocery shop while OCing? I want to know how many of you go about your daily life OCing.[/suP]

[suP]I have been OCing all over town. I only used to OC every now and then, but lately I have been most places I go. I CC when OC is an inconvenience. I was just interested in how other Alabamians were doing with the issue.
[/suP]

[suP]Also, Jonathon andI will be enjoying a cup of Joe this Sunday at noon. The Starbucks at 5 Points South in Birmingham. OC is optional! [/suP]

[suP]Hope to see you there!

Down in Mobile, I OC pretty regularly when going out. Grocery shopping, Lowe's, WalMart, restaurants, walking around the neighborhood....

Pretty much any time I'm going out that I'm not 1)going to church or 2)going to work before or after.... I'll be OC'ing.

And pretty much no issues except one at WalMart which was a while ago and I've detailed other places on this forum. But I've been back to the same WalMart OC'ing and not had troubles as well.

I have only been OC'ing for a couple weeks now, but I have done the Wal-Mart grocery shopping trips, restraunts, gas stations, pretty much every where I go around the WireGrass area with no problems at all yet.

As I'm relatively new to OC, I'm pretty selective about the places I carry openly. However, I'm doing it more and at more places, especially when running short errands into smaller stores/businesses.

OC 24/7 in Marshall county, no problems other than a minor inconvenience at Wal-mart. If you buy ammo while OC'n expect to have an escort. Funny thing is Iasked the employee escorting me that I had 16 rounds in the gun so why would you need to wait till i got out side to give me the ammo? And what if I come back in? I mean really what is the point of the unarmed escorting of an armed man? she replied "i know, it's silly". By the way, a woman bought the same ammo right after me and i think she was CC'n, no escort for her. Folks, sense has become very uncommon these days.

I don't normally shop at Wal-mart for numerous reasons, just happened to be the only place with ammo within 40 miles or so.

Rights come from god, they cannot be infringed, only defended! cue the expression of the folks that trade freedom for security/slavery. :what:yep, there it is!

sorry, like to but its a bit far for the unemployed. just got back from another wally world trip, employee asked "u police"? no, "u got a permit"? no, "what kind of gun is that"? Beretta. end of story. no escort, no hassle. I was very suprisedgiven the questioning.

Stopped by WalMart last night after supper (OC'ing of course) and had no issues whatsoever. The only person that showed any evidence of noticing was a guy who walked up to me and just told me "Hey that's real cool, man. I like that." We had a brief discussion about how a lot of people don't realize that it is completely legal to openly carry a firearm in the state of Alabama. He was on board. Nice guy.

We parted ways with a healthy "War Eagle!" and finished our shopping.:D
