I guess this place is a Gun-Free zone. I was OCing yesterday and was approaced by the security and told they had a no firearms policy. I said No Problem and covered up, but it wasnt good enough for him, he stated I had to leave or put it in my car. I then had to show my badge!

I tried to explain how a gunfree zone = a shooting range for criminals, but I could tell this guy just wanted to get outa there and get back to his job. He did try to debate the fact that guns scare people and that they would lose customers who are scared of guns! I told him this is AZ and people dont even notice! I also told him they will be losing my business as I would no longer goto their mall and that he should let his boss know that.

I will be writing a letter today.

Edit: Broadwall mall in Tucson

Are you referring to Park Place Mall on Broadway in Tucson?

Park Place is owned by GGP management, headquartered in Schitt-cag-o. PPG which has posted all their Malls as NO WEAPONS allowed.

Because of their gun ban I don't shop there.

If I recall correctly, some of the mall entrances from the exterior stores (Sears, Borders, etc.) are not posted..... ;) And Borders has never had a problem with me OC-ing

MAJOR Mall entrances to Foothills Mall, Park Place and other Malls owned by PPG are posted no weapons on "Code of Conduct" signage near front entrances.

Entrances into PP Mall from Sears, Borders, both which seem to accept OC, are not posted.

If you OC into either Mall and are spotted by Mall security you may or may not be escorted out of the Mall.
