+1 on Suntrust
I've never had a problem with Bayport CU but that's more local to Hampton Roads

All the Bank of America's in my area have no guns signs and I'd never step foot in the door.
Strange - I am aware of none that have them in the Richmond area.

Wonder why the difference.

Yeah the one closest to me even has an armed security guard.

He's a wise man!

I was asked about a safe place to keep money since FDIC is in question.

I told them to keep their money in their left pocket, their gun in their right pocket (CHP Holders only) and a hand on each one.:(
I didn't realize they made hand cannons pocket size :D

Well so much for Suntrust being gun friendly. Went in to open a checking account and was told that only police officers can carry into the bank and in order to bank there I would have to leave my pistol in the car.

Will have to try another bank. :p

This needs to be resolved.

Branch phone #757-482-9643

All managers of this branch are presently unavailable - in conference.

Will try back later.

Thanks for the thread OP, I was wanting to know the same thing. Since all banks are a bunch of crooks, the OC thing would be a deciding factor. :)

I think Ill try Suntrust.

I've been OCing in the Yorktown Suntrust for years. Same with Bank of America in York County.

Never even a :shock:from the employees, just from tourists once in a while. They look at the tellers to see if they seem alarmed and the tellers just SMILE. I love it.
