Wanted to do a LV strip get together and then afterwards take a picture at the Las Vegas sign. Anyone want to join in on that. Fremont street is another possibility for Saturday night around 8 PM.

I'm in!! Kind of off topic, but what ever happened to the whole tee shirt idea?I was thinking something about opencarry.org/Nevada on the back. Something that stands out!! Signal Orange!! And can we have something about Zombie Response Team! That's a whole other topic. Also who has the video camera and audio recorder. Just in case.

I'm waiting for some price quotes for the T-Shirts. They are still a go. Although logo ideas are still up in the air. I'm thinking that we need about 40 shirts of various sizes.

Greengum I have your phone # so don't worry.

I hate the idea of "Zombie Response Team", no offense. In my mind, that seems to trivialize the serious nature of carrying a defensive weapon. It also clouds the message about weapons rights, though it does speak volumes for free speech rights. Personally, if I knew nothing about the group, and saw this kind of Tshirt as official group swag, I would not be interested in learning more about the group or anything it had to promote.

Im in for either the strip or freemont street and would be down for the sign pic, id purpose doing the picture at the sign first since its a good place to actually meet and group up then decide were the best place to park was.

Totally agree with tim here. I want the shirts to be nice with a ask me more type of design. Thats why I was thinking the "I OC in NV". I figured people would want to ask more!

If we decide to do the LV sign thing then I have found the best thing is to park behind the MC Donalds we parked at a few weeks ago on Tim's meetup post. This time maybe walk the other way.

I agree the parking lot behind McDonalds for the last meet was a very good spot with lots of parking for sure. Just wasnt sure we wanted to be in the same general area as last time, but walking south this time would be a good choice.

I wouldn't mind doing the same thing we did last time, or some variation of it. I've never been to the freemont street experience, so that sounds kind of fun too.

The cross streets would be Fremont Street Experience and Main Street. We usually stand at the edge by Main Street. The best parking I have found is to valet park. Whatever is good for you though.

So that was a interesting meet up. We hung out for a while, they had a sudo carnival thing going on which i tried and we made it through a few casinos. We were asked to leave binions casino but one of the guards apparently offered to check in our weapons for us. We met some very interesting people. I'll let the others tell that story. Thanks for everyone who showed up. I had a good time and the fried twinky was good with corn dogs and what not. BTW last time I woosied out about going into a casino to go pee but this time I lead the way!

It was nice to meet all of you who came! This was my first open carry, outside of my neighborhood. After I left, I went to Kmart with the wife to get shampoo, (a duty you have when you're married), and then to IHOP for dinner. No problems whatsoever!
Thanks for a great time, and letting me join you!
