Hey "stainless1911",

Is that just a blackhawk paddle with your own strap setup?

If so, is that draw angle on purpose?

anyway, here is my current carry setup. Gotta love A Colt.:celebrate :) vvv

yes, it is a blackhawk. The draw angle just kinda worked out that way. The rig is snug, not tight, and my hand just guides naturally onto the grip. Its an all day everyday carry rig that I put together with stuff I had around. I love it. It slidesto the front of my leg easily when sitting, sleeping, or if I am in a crowd, and I want the gun in amore securelocation.

I love it, very easy to deal with. Easy to draw. Easy to remove (turn upwards and forwards) Secure, blends in and is comfy.

Im a HUGE fan of the style of that holster and I love and trust Blackhawk stuff...I want one.

I saw em in a sportsman's warehouse here but I wanted the opinion of someone who already had one before I shelled out the $$$

Is it showing any excessive wear or have you found anything thing about it you dont like?

No excessive wear it is excellent. The only thing is it took some getting used to removing the holster and not getting caught on my pants. Once I figured that out I was good to go.
