He sounded like a reasonable guy, but he let slip that he was interested in national office.

I believe there has been significan debate about this guy? What's his stand?

I have heard a few good things about him. Last election his name was being bandiedd about, but I thought; "Who is going to vote for a guy with a name like "Pawlenty"? Sounds like a cross between "polenta" and "plenty". And sure we got aa guy named Obama now, but that might just be because a pack of Jameson-fuelled Hibernians thougfht there was an apostrophe after the "O". Boy, when they realized what they had voted for....

But you can never tell what is going to come out of Minnesota politics. Ventura, Pawlenty, Coleman, Franken. Oh gawd, Mondale.....

In his first campaign he ran on a promise to enact "shall issue" in MN. I just got my MN carry permit, something that wasn't possible before TPaw. I like him.
