Must be where those massive arsenals of fully automatic US weapons that supposedly got sold to Mexico REALLY went. Or something.

Wrong, the restrictrin on firearms ion Canada is mainly on handguns. You can still own them but there are restrictions on where you can keep them and how you can carry them.
