Very nice...and it's steel:lol:So I sold it and replaced it with something that is :celebrate
Hmmmm...Curtis needs to tell us. I thought it was an Alaskan but they don't make that in hammerless.looks like ruger sp101
Got one of these (hammer version), carried it routinely, not too heavy, comfortable, andlike it a lot. (I put aHogue grip on mine, too.) Butnow I carry aM&P40c with a round chambered, a little lighter, 2x the rounds, easy reload. So I sold it and replaced it with something that is :celebrate
It could use some improvement but I'm sure after some play time with it it will improve. Out of the box, it's not as good as my Redhawk's DA pull. I had a 3 inch version SP-101 like you describe, with around 400 rounds through it, and it's trigger was better.Oh man, I've been wanting one of those, the 3" version with a hammer. Yours looks amazing, how's the DA pull?
I liked the Glock 36, but it wasn't comfortable when concealing and I only really ever conceal out of an absolute necessity to do so. I thought I could live with it, but after a while it got old and I have a Glock 30 so I justified it's sale.Curtis wrote:Got one of these (hammer version), carried it routinely, not too heavy, comfortable, andlike it a lot. As for the reloads, I should have mentioned that I'm left-handed2a4all wrote:I liked the Glock 36, but it wasn't comfortable when concealing and I only really ever conceal out of an absolute necessity to do so. I can't even tell the SP-101 is there, and I just plain like revolvers better, not only for aesthetics but on average I shoot a little better with them as well. That's not to say you won't see me OCing the Glock 30 or a 1911 though.
Reloads get easy after plenty of practice.
