My Mother-in-law asked me to look at her pistol. It is a .22LR revolver H&R Model 949. It has been stored for a really long time, and needed cleaning/oiling, and the trigger did not always pull all the way through. I discovered a plastic part in the grip that has something to do with the hammer (I am not a gunsmith) that is broken. Does anyone know where I may be able to find parts? I looked online and even called H&R (no help there) and have had no success. If I can't find a part I will just take it to a gunsmith, but would prefer to do this myself.

Wow thank you so much. I found the part I need in there, now I will call them on Monday and see if I can get the part. I need the mainspring assembly :)
