OC Gathering?

Since it is getting nice again, I'd like to get another OC gathering in the Nashville area.

My schedule (and more open) has changed since the last time we had a gathering (was that over a year ago, now?) at the Shoney's near the Titan's Colosseum.

I have a couple ideas, and would love others.

1. Another OC Dinner at an OC friendly returaunt.

2. An OC potluck style picnic at a state park or local park (were there any citties in the Nashville area that did not prohibit firearms?) that does not prohibit carry.

Throw in your suggestions, please.

I figure that weekends are probably the best time for somthing of the picnic nature, but the dinner could possibly be held on nearly any evening.

Bicentennial Mall would be a good place to have an open carry picnic. I'm not sure if you need a permit to host an event like that.

Did you know you can't take wedding pictures in a metro park w/o a permit? Or that it is illegal to sit in a commercial vehicle with 3" or taller letters in a park parking lot? If you're dealing with guns and a gathering you need to double check.

You never know when someone from lobelville will report you for illegal or non illegal activity.
