I remember hearing about the transportation law changing recently about how we can transport firearms. I cant find anything on it on-line. Anyone here know what I'm talking about?

Uh, Senate Bill 222 perhaps?

I don't think anything has changed yet. I believe it passed in the state senate and is in the assembly now....

But don't get too excited. It's very limited, applies only to long guns for licensed hunters during hunting season and limited times of the day and so on. For open carry, as we practice it, it has no practical value nor does it change anything.
