I will be in Denver on Thursday of this week and it looks like I may have some free time in the afternoon. I will be driving between Fort Collins and Denver after lunch so I am looking for a range in that area. I will be staying in downtown Denver that night so anything in between will work. Any suggestions?

I little better since the new ventilation and the addition of the shredded tires on the back stop but have still had a few chunks of frag come back at me. The price is right and the staff is nice. I think they only allow brass though so if you like to shoot Blazer Alum. your out of luck.

EDIT:Sorry, I just realized that I mis worded my OP. I have NEVER had any shrapnel come back since the shredded tires were added!!!

Holy crap!!! Is that normal? I've never EVER had anything come back at me. If I ever had shrapnel come back to me- I would probably never return.

Never even heard of that before.

Never had that issue at Green Mountain Family Shooting Center (this range is often talked down).

The back stop is one big steel plate on a 45 degree from floor to celling. It would get divots in it and when another round would hit it, shavings would peel off the round OCCASIONALLY come back up-range. Now with the shredded tires, it keeps the shrapnel from coming back.
