I just wanted to touch base with everybody and learn the best practices for activities around town. I play sports and get active three times a week or more. I skateboard and I have to disarm for that; leaving my pistol in my car. I play frisbee golf, too; and I disarm. Whether or not I take off my holster/pistol depends on the energy and movement needed. For hiking; I keep my holster and pistol on. For rock climbing; I disarm. When I get my CHP; I will be carrying To the rock wall and then just put my pistol in my backpack while I climb. I fish in the summer time, all the time; and I definitely keep my holster and pistol on. I just use a basic spinner and go for trout; nice and easy- no crazy movements.
What do you guys do? Anyone play frisbee golf too and do you disarm or not? How about mountain biking? I don't have one, yet- but do you guys carry while? Tennis- seems like you'd want to disarm; but that could depend on how tight your holster and shorts are?
Just wondering; thanks everyone. Spring is in the air!
