There have been a number of letters from folks who are frightened by openly carried firearms.

Perhaps because they themselves are ruled by fear (one was unable even to eat at the sight of a weapon), they commonly ask what we're "afraid of"?

Some of us hope that more common exposure to "open carry" will eventually teach some tolerance.
Otherwise, we must applaud the recent move by the Legislature to allow concealed carry without government supervision. - Timothy Herbst[/b], Tempe[/i]
