Very good DB!

Do you think your sons fingers are long enough to release the pistol and remove it from the holster single handedly? I doubt he could even if he tried.

See you Saturday!

i know his hands were pretty close in the video but he was actually trying to put his hand on my back to give me a hug he is very good about firearm safety for instance one day when i was posting on ctguntalk.com when my daughter came up behind me to touch the handle on my gun before she even got to it my son came up and grabed her hand and said

"lissette don't touch that's da's gun it dangerous"

it was a proud moment for me know i know it isn't the gun that is dangerous but the shooter but from coming from a 3 1/2 year old at the time i will take it with pride

I am posting this because of some e-mails I have gotten

I do understand where people are coming from that say I shoud'nt OC with

my kids there, but I can not be afraid of what LEO might or might not do.

Back when I did'nt know OC was legal I got Into a situation in the grocery

store. I was shopping with my kids and I was carryng concealed when my son

dropped something on the floor and I bent down to pick it up my shirt

lifted up over the grip of my gun, and then the woman behind me screamed

"OH MY GOD HE HAS A GUN" I left the shopping cart picked up the kids and

left. After that situation I was terrified to carry anymore so I stopped

alltogether. well after several months passed I was thinking about the

situation and why the woman freaked out and I came to the conclusion that

it was the surprize of seeing a gun where just a few seconds later there

was no gun and that the fact that it looked like it was stuck in someones

waistband "it was the inside the waistband holster but it looks like it is

stuck right in the pants". I started searching online to see if anyone else

was ever in that situation before and that is when I found

www.opencarry.org and realized that OC WAS LEGAL IN CONNECTICUT. I still

wasnt sure so I called DPS and they told me it was legal. I did here that

mr. goldgerg was arrested but he got his stuff back and no one has been

arrested since befor I started to OC I found this on the www.ct.gov website

http://www.ct.gov/bfpe/cwp/view.asp?a=1253&Q=456516
and now I carry these documents with me wherever I go. I also realized

after the first OC that when I carry concealed and I am holding my daughter

I wouldn't be able to draw my firearm if the need came because I need two

hands to draw from the concealed position but only one hand to draw from

the OC position I use a serpa locking holster just to be safe and usually a

pistol lanyard for retention purposes. I have been doing this for awhile

now on a regular basis and have not had one issue. I do think someone

called when I was at aldi in bristol though because three cruisers came but

they saw me and the holstered gun they then talked for a few minutes and

then they left so I do believe the LEO is starting to get the word out that

we are now exercising our rights and it is not illegal.
