Great first open carry experience

I strode into Starbucks this morning with my 1911 holstered.
One customer (young man) approached me as I was leaving to ask if I was a police officer. I told him no, and explained how Open Carry works.
Of course, I gave him the tri-fold PDF 2-page pamphlet.
Then he asked about my Esmeralda 1911 grips!

Opinion: Take lots of printed materials when you venture out to Open Carry.

You've been a forum member for a few months now. Good job reading, learning, and waiting to OC. Glad to hear your experience went well.
