Obama Finds Legal Way Around The 2nd Amendment And Uses It.

If This Passes, There Will Be WAR

Just got this ... pass it far &wide.

On Wednesday Obama Took the First Major Step in a Plan to Ban All

Firearms

in the United States . The Obama administration intends to force gun

control and a complete ban on all weapons for US citizens

through the signing of international treaties with foreign nations. By

signing international treaties on gun control, the Obama administration

can

use the US State Department to bypass the normal legislative process in

Congress. Once the US Government signs these

international treaties, all US citizens will be subject to those gun laws

created by foreign governments. These are laws that have been developed

and

promoted by organizations such as the United Nations

and individuals such as George Soros and Michael Bloomberg. The laws are

designed and intended to lead to the complete ban and confiscation of all

firearms.

The Obama administration is attempting to use tactics and methods of gun

control that will inflict major damage to our 2nd Amendment before US

citizens even understand what has happened. Obama can appear

before the public and tell them that he does not intend to pursue any

legislation (in the United States) that will lead to new gun control

laws,

while cloaked in secrecy, his Secretary of State, Hillary

Clinton is committing the US to international treaties and foreign gun

control laws. Does that mean Obama is telling the truth? What it means is

that there will be no publicized gun control debates in the

media or votes in Congress. We will wake up one morning and find that the

United States has signed a treaty that prohibits firearm and ammunition

manufacturers from selling to the public. We will wake up

another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that prohibits

any

transfer of firearm ownership. And then, we will wake up yet another

morning

and find that the US has signed a treaty that

requires US citizens to deliver any firearm they own to the local

government

collection and destruction center or face imprisonment.

This is not a joke nor a false warning. As sure as government health care

will be forced on us by the Obama administration through whatever means

necessary, so will gun control.

U..S. reverses stance on treaty to regulate arms trade

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States reversed policy on Wednesday and

said it would back launching talks on a treaty to regulate arms sales as

long as the talks operated by consensus, a stance critics

said gave every nation a veto.

The decision, announced in a statement released by the U.S. State

Department, overturns the position of former President George W. Bush's

administration, which had opposed such a treaty on the grounds that

national controls were better. View The Full Article Here

The proposed treaty would only regulate the importing and exporting of firearms from and to foreign countries. Treaties only regulate our relationships with other countries, not relationships within our country. Accordingly, no treaty could ever interfere with any U.S. citizen's right to purchase, posess, or carry a firearm within the borders of the U.S.

It can make one leary. Knowing Obama helped to keep guns banned in Illinois, does kind of put it to the front of our minds. I also think the health care law was a test to see if America would lay down and roll over. Now that he knows that he can inact laws that the majority of Americans are against, he can go ahaed with other plans and see how far he can go.He is inacting other countries policeis. A nationwide gun ban is plausible.Unfortunatly with our borders wide open as they have been True Americans are the minority. So many, that grew up in other countries are here and been given citizenship, that they are more prone to enjoy our freedom with their laws. Thats my 2 cents.

Agreed need to get rid of of these and send them back to where they came from if they support laws or treatiesfrom other countries. But thats another issue. We simply must let folks in gov.know that we won't tolerate this and it will lead down a path they don't want to go.

[sup]Deleting the picture as it is offensive and borderline pornographic. There are people here that may browse from work which restrict only pornographic material while browsing and this may cross that particular line.[/sup]

Reid v. Covert, 354 U.S. 1 (1957) The United States Supreme Court ruled that the Constitution supersedes international treaties ratified by the United States Senate. According to the decision, "this Court has regularly and uniformly recognized the supremacy of the Constitution over a treaty,"

The cool thing about stupid emails is there isn't you jerks to do a few seconds of research to find out that it is mostly BS.
When someone sends a nutty email to 100 nutty people, maybe a few of them are going to look it up, and even if they are like you people who have nothing better to do than verify the information people tell you and then respond with evidence to the contrary, there's still 95 people that are going to crap their pants and email it to everyone they know.
While on the subject, I was the first one to claim that Obama directed DHS, FBI, and ATF to use the Patriot Act against the Right. Anyone get that email?

This is correct.

Folks, we had overwhelming votes to ban the DOI from enforcing bans against lawful parks carry in the Senate. We were 1 vote shy of carry reciprocity (we may actually get it later this year or early next year). We are close to removing most of the District of Columbia's gun control laws because now another political interest is fearing that this will be their last chance for their issue (Congressional representation for DC). We have near filibuster proof pro-gun majorities in the Senate. They will not get 67 votes in the Senate to ban guns, PERIOD.

Check your facts before posting stuff like this on forums. It subjects all gun owners to ridicule as appearing to be looney tunes on this sort of situation. With the sole exception of Bush signing the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act back in 2005, Obama has signed the first "pro-gun" bill that any President has since Ronald Reagan in 1986.

This isn't to say Obama is pro-gun. He is a politician, just like George W. Bush and Bill Clinton and GHW Bush were politicians. Brady Campaign is so angry at him that they rated him an F-minus for 2009 for signing the DOI firearms ban prohibition. Pushing for gun control is suicidal for nationwide elected politicians, especially post-Heller and post-McDonald. It's going to get quite interesting before the 2010 elections.

Let's see how much juice we can get from scared politicians who are trying to keep their jobs. :)
