On October 5th we have been invited to attend a Volunteers and Sponsors Appreciation Celebration. I know its a long way off but I need to RSVP by May 1st with the names of folks attending. I'd really like to pack this event with names from our group.

You can PM me if you want your name on the list.

Wow, can't believe I missed this one...

OCDO already has a section of the highway? I know they have it in other states, but I couldn't seem to find ours. I thought I saw a thread on it... maybe?

Anyway, count me in for this event.

We have the section of North bound I-5 from the Puyallup River to the 54th Ave exit in Fife.

Due to the construction and changes that are being made it will be changing to a section a bit further South - north Bound I-5 at 96th st to 72nd St - One nice straight chunk of highway.

I have all the safety gear, the only thing you need to bring is gloves and pick up sticks for the trash. I have a few of them but they go quick.

Contact the local coordinator in your area and get a section sponsored if you have access to that many folks.

here is the link to the local coordinators: http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/Operations/adoptahwy/contacts.htm

Check my profile for my contact info and I can help you get it set up.

I'll take 40 newbies willing to show up over 40 seasoned vets that don't.
And I would love to see it - seriously.
