They are also harmless other than a little barf when flying overhead, that was a stupid shoot !
I seriously doubt confessing to this type of crime on the internet is going to result to being criminally charged.

I've been on many forums, and have seem saying in jest that they just murdered a man. You can't really take much said on the internet with more than a grain of salt, unless there's evidence in the real world that actually relates to what was said, or you're talking about preparing a major crime, such as a robbery, rape, murder, bomb threat, etc etc.

I guarantee anyone can come on here and say they just sold their neighbor a pound of marijuana and cocaine, or that they just got away with CCing on U.S. Property, or even that they "rear ended" someone in the parking lot and drove away, and not jack will happen.

And if I remember correctly, you're the member studying to be a cop someday? and the same member that totes in Tacticool fashion some 4,5, or 6 items for your own self defense. This is the World Wide Web and if someone is willing to do their homework, Johnny law can be on your front porch within the hour..

If Ignorance is Bliss, you must be one Happy S.O.B.
Of course they can. My point is, in most cases, they would not choose to look in to such an event if Joe Blow just posted "I just sold some coke to my neighbor last night." Or "I've got a stash that I'm about to light up". I just gave my opinion. It doesn't matter a whole lot to me anyway, because I don't come online and start talking about illegal activities.

The problem would be if someone were charged with a crime and if the DA thought there was intent to be mined here, he just might look.

I don't play games, or post info that I wouldn't discuss right in my own home or with my LEO acquaintances, or even my own mother, if that kind of chatter is your style, or you think it won't be taken seriously by some web surfer somewhere, then BS. away, someday someone will be checking in on you. when folks cross the narrow line form reasonable to uncontrollable, and have a serious infraction of the law, usually the P.C. is the first item confiscated from their home/possession, thenevery post you ever made on that particular machine is at the disposal ofa crime investigating P.D. hacker.. Nothing is a secret on a P.C.

Lemme tell you about a friend of mine that is physicallyhandicapped . He only leaves his house twice a day, in an electric wheelchair to go visit a few nearby neighbors. Then back home, once inside his home he monitors the web in tons of locations, and picks upweb addresses, IP providers, and personal info from 100,s of people a day, and if any of the info leads to child porn sites, he sends all the pertinent info to the Attorney generals office, and that particular PC is monitoredand web traffic copied, and then the computer is Nuked. Guess who shows up on the front door step of the owner of the computer in question within 24 hrs.
