We goto Smith Mountain Lake. Granted, it is a state park and they currently only allow youto carry with a CHP. But the area is beautiful and quiet.

Slight Tangent:

I have to wonder though... can the State Park limit firearms on-site if you didn't have a CHP and kept it within your campsite? Since you are renting the campsite from the Park, wouldn't it have similar legal coverage as renting / leasing an apartment or house?
