Unarmed Bus drivers get self-defence classes.

The government tells us that crime has decreased since the firearms ban. Well, not according to our bus drivers. Here are the facts, "There were 162 reported assaults on STA bus drivers in the 12 months to June, up nearly 15 per cent from the previous year."

Incident reports show drivers have been bashed, spat on and abused by angry passengers. Would bus drivers be bashed spat on and abused if the abusers knew the drivers were ARMED and able to defend themselves? Haz.

The only affect the gun ban seems to be having on crime is the fact that it is increasing dramaticly. Haz.

A top tourism body said brutal crime was "out of control"

I have been saying crime is on the increase since the firearms ban and armed self defence has been made illegal and now people are finally realising this themselves. Yet, sections of our government are still calling for tougher gun control. Haz.
