Been OCing in Florence/Muscle Shoals for 2 weeks

So far I haven't encountered any problems. No comments from anyone, but I have noticed that convenience store owners get really nervous when I enter. It's nice being able to OC, during the warm weather it's so much more comfortable and I don't have to wipe the sweat off my pistol every few minutes.

Way to go!! The best way to educate the masses that guns are not dangerous scary things is to see them in real life, not doing anything but resting in a holster. Too many people get there idea about guns from movies, the media and anti-gun scumbags.

Once again good job.

BTW- you need to get a North Alabama Starbucks Sunday OC meet-up going. We have one going weekly in both Birmingham and Montgomery.

There was talk of having a meet in Huntsville at one time but I haven't heard anything else about it. Seems like there was a good bit of interest in it, I'd love to have a meeting somewhere around here!

Good job dude. Best thing POSSIBLE for you do for your area is pick a place that you know is neutral to supportive, like Starbucks, and set a time every week that you will be OC'ing. If you can do it every week, there's never any guessing, and new people can just show up.

That's what we did in Birmingham and Montgomery and it has been VERY successful.

Keep up the good work, brother.

I had mentioned a North Alabama meeting in late April. I just posted a 10am Saturday meet, but also asked for time and day that is convienient for everyone. I suggested the Starbucks on Highway 72 in Madison, AL. If Sunday works better, that is good. I'm just waiting for feedback.
