It has been three years since the tragedy at Virginia Tech and yet Senators Webb and Warner sit and do nothing in congress. It is time to stand up and take a reasoned stand against senseless violence.
I am outraged. We have bureaucrats making rules for public institutions that violate constitutionally protected rights.
It is time to make their institutionsliable for their freedom hating actions.
Demand that your legislators enact legislation that holds government entities that infringe on 2A rights liable for any damages that occur because the victim was unable to defend themselves in a victim disarmament zone (gun free zone).
Specifically identify the piercing of sovereign and qualified immunity claims by the act of denying theconstitutionally protected behavior ofbearing arms.
We cannot be free from government intrusion, but when that intrusion prevents a citizen from exercising constitutionally protected rights and there issubsequent injury to the citizen, then the government entity should be held liable and the citizen should be compensated.
My plea is simple. IN HONOR OF THE VIRGINIA TECH MASSACRE, CLOSE THE VICTIM DISARMAMENT ZONE LOOPHOLE!
