First, I presume you mean CPL, since it's called a Concealed Pistol License in Michigan. Based on the info http://www.michigan.gov/msp/0,1607,7-123-1591_3503_4654---,00.htmlhttp://www.michigan.gov/msp/0,1607,7-123-1591_3503_4654-10926--,00.html  I'd say 8 years.

But you should ask a lawyer to be sure.

(Edit: after clicking on the link, click on "Concealed Pistol License Requirements."

I don't know why it didn't work the first time. Then again, the first time, it would go straight to the requirements page. Maybe there's something about it this forum program doesn't like. I dunno.

Thanks for the bananas. :)

Yeah, what CV67Pat said above. I was looking at the offense, and didn't notice the "second offense" part. So, 3 years, that should be from the date of conviction.

At least you can still OC.

Check the "carry chart" to know where and where you can and cant OC. And dont carry in your car. The carry chart is in the stickies on the Michigan forum.

http://opencarry.mywowbb.com/forum30/36728.html

Also, know these two laws in particular. 754.234d and 750.231a.

231a : http://www.legislature.mi.gov/(S(rwpmqu4525sjbx55bclg2s45))/mileg.aspx?page=getObject&objectName=mcl-750-231a

234d : http://www.legislature.mi.gov/(S(rwpmqu4525sjbx55bclg2s45))/mileg.aspx?page=getObject&objectName=mcl-750-234d

Am I missing anything?

First off, you say lost your cpl, does this mean that by your conviction it was:
Suspended? or Revoked?

Each has a different consequence.

Yeah...this is really starting to smell like BS to me...
He keeps starting and perpetuating off topic rants... Mike and John both have stated this type of thing will not be tolerated. ESP when it is done for the sole purpose of attacking another posters integrity.

Note if you don't understand reread the AUP.
