Interesting, maybe Bill Clinton sent him? j/k The guy does sounda bit odd, but that doesn't mean he's automatically guilty. So what are the legal guidelines inNorthCarolina regarding open carry? Hope some of ya Carolina guys can give us some info.

"Joseph Sean McVey, 23, of Coshocton, Ohio, is charged with going armed in terror of the public, a misdemeanor, said Asheville Regional Airport Police Capt. Kevan Smith." From the article

^standing armed in public is going armed in terror of the public?

He was in the parking lot.

Were Blobama and Air Force One also in the parking lot? I feel so dirty referring the plane that filth is on as Air Force One... Disgusting. I hope the next President insists on calling it Air Force Zero just so he won't be soiled by it...

I fail to see the jurisdiction or a law being broken. I also haven't heard much on the non-sterile carry for NC, so my perspective is in no way definitive.

This news story has been discussed fairly thoroughly in another thread, including explanations on the "terror of the public" thing and NC carry laws.
