I Know I have to let the FDA&CS know I moved but, do I send it writing or will a phone call take care of that? Will I have to give up my current license and get a non res. license? And how long do I have to report the move? Thanks in advance for your advice.

As brboyer said, just change your address. Nothing more. There is no Florida "Out of state" license. Just residing out of state makes it out of state so to speak.

You don't even have to obtain a new license. A new license wouldn't have your address on it now anyway, they stopped putting it on the licenses back in Feb if I'm not mistaken. So, honsestly, no point in spending the money for a replacement. Just wait till it expires.
