I ask thatALLPatriots, Constitutionalists, Gun Owners, Conservatives, Democrats and Law abbiding citizens of OUR UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BOYCOTT YESS BOYCOTT NOW the REPUBLIQUE OF KALIFORNIA and its KOMRADS, SWARTZENAGER, AMIANO, SALDANA, FUERER, The Brady Campaignand others whom have continued to take rights away from Law Abiding Citizens. The crimes rate in this state has risen to enormous proportions where the only things Police can do is take a report. This state continues to punish its Law Abiding Citizens by consistent Firearms restrictions and Law takeaways.

I ask that you tell your families, friends ask them to tell their families and friends to spread the word not to patronize theREPUBLIC OF KALIFORNIA in so that tourisim and travel, Vacationing stop. Please have them write letters to Swartzenager expressing their concern of the state infringing upon peoples second amendment rights. Saldana MUST not get away with passing this frivalous bill 1934. This state govenment must realize it is a crime to trample over the constitution which they oathed to support and defend. Lets put a stop to this TYRANNY by our ELECTED officials

I'm already doing that.
I grew up in S.Cal. and would love to go back, but I suspect that the California I knew is no longer there.
So I will probably never visit or live there again.
My travel dollars will go elsewhere.

Although i agree on the reasoning behind this, i do not agree about how to "RUN" from the problem, i love California except the politics, but if everyone that supports 2A rights leaves then this state will be taken over by brady campaign people that dont know how to stand up to there own country's constitution. Then California would really go down the pooper. i say not run so the problem gets worse, i say STAY and FIGHT the problems so we can still enjoy what this state has to offer.

I was actually thinking this exact same thing this morning while listening to NPR about how the Arizona immigration law is a massive civil rights violation (which it is). It'd be nice if other states would support California by enacting a ban. Not sure how feasible it would be though since we create a ton of technology.

This makes no sense. If all gun owners boycott California, then it will be even easier to pass AB1934.

Not to mention that if you're boycotting the place, why even care what laws they pass?

Hey, bigtoe, do you think you could elaborate on your post? I'm not sure I understand.

It was not my intention to run or leave california please read it again. I encourage family and friends to boycott and also people whom already have left the state write letters to the Governator etc.

I was thinking of a CA ban as directly affecting California's bottom line if it was large enough. If the states that supported the 2nd amendment simply refused to do business with CA, then the state would lose huge amounts of money. It could force our legislature to repeal the restrictive laws we currently contend with.

Of course, the likelihood of this ever happening is extremely remote.

OK, I see what you mean.

You're right, though. It would take a boycott of that scale to convince the legislature to take the 2nd amendment seriously, and that's extremely unlikely.

There are better avenues to pursue.

I say all gun and ammomanufacturer's, dealers, distributors, etc. reserve their right to refuse service and sales to any and all politicians...and their families...who are anti's, who own guns, want to own guns, buy ammo, etc. End the hypocrisy!Including range owners...refuse them the opportunity and enjoyment of sport shooting and training. Might simply be symbolic, but its a statement that would get attention.

This is already happening, though not in the form of an organized "ban" - and it is already affecting CA's bottom line. (Though I think most of the population and politicians are too stupid to notice.)

Many businesses have been incorporated in other states (e.g. NV) in order to gain some tax shelter. Other businesses have "voted with their feet" and gone somewhere more profitable to run a business. Many are simply out of business. Others still don't even get to launch their business.

Taxes, forces socialist/communist programs (DI, UI, etc), labor laws, etc, all hit California business owners' bottom lines harder than most other states.

CA is in an economic downward spiral. The Legislature - and now Congress - are working hard to make business less appealing. They're snuffing out "mom and pop" operations, ironically making it so only the large corporations (that they despise as icons of capitalism) can compete.

Socialists don't know diddly about business, all they know is control.

Why not get gun and ammo manufacturers, gunsmiths, ballistics labs, etc. to stop selling their goods and services to any CA state or local agency such as police departments, sheriffs, etc. just like Barrett did when CA banned the .50 cal??
