We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. MOC chose not to be their in an official capacity. The only thing this does is make it NOT an MOC sponsored event.
It will still likely be a good event as Mike generally does a good job with his events. He says that the bathroom issue has been worked out ... something about porta potty's but feel free to PM him if you want more details.

Lots of stores have lapel mic's with very long cords so you can start the recorder and put it all the way into a pocket with the lapel mike up near your neck hidden by your shirt collar. Works great for me.

I put it in my pocket, next to my cell phone, and it got paused 5 minutes into the walk.
The little samsung is great on a lanyard, but it's battery life isn't great (considering I bought it used). It is only rechargeable thru a usb port.

Ahhh, I see, thanks. I skimmed thru the instruction book but I didnt pick up on that portion of the hold buttons function.
