hi I have an oregon conceal weapons permit that I got through the sheriff's department. I know that I can carry my colt 1911 loaded and concealed with me. My question to you guys is, if you know if I am covered 100% to open carry in Oregon or am I only supposed to have the weapon concealed. I guess that conceal and open carry are 2 different things. please help

Open Carry in Oregon is even Legal without a Concealed Cary License, however; Local Governments can make that practice difficult.

In Oregon, you will need a License to Carry into any Public Building, or to Carry at all in certain Cities that have passed this Locally-allowed exception to State-wide Preemption.
