Ladies and gentlemen:

Heartland Wisconsin, an Illinois based Corporation, has verified that they have a NO FIREARMS policy. There are no signs in the stores, but they can and will discriminate against those who choose to exercise their right to carry. Both Wisconsin Carry, Inc. and ICarry officials have verified that this is and will continue to be their policy.

I am including a link to their store locator: http://www.heartlandfoodcorp.com/restaurant_locator.aspx So you can see WHICH Burger King stores infringe on your rights.

As there are many other options available for fast food, I would encourage you to take your hard earned money to one of their competitors and avoid the Burger King facilities owned by Heartland Wisconsin. If you would like to contact their corporate office to express your concern over this policy here is the corporate contact info:

Heartland Food Corporate Office
1400 Opus Place, Suite 900
Downers Grove, IL 60515
Corporate Office (630) 598-3300

There is also an EMail option on the following page: http://www.heartlandfoodcorp.com/contact_us.aspx

Feel free to share this information on any and all other forums you may belong to. If you have fiends, relatives, or neighbors who work at one of their facilities, respectfully request they seek alternative employment with an employer who does not have a pre-existing prejudice against those who carry.

Just to clarify, when I type in my zip code, no stores are found within 150 miles, of course there are Burger Kings all over the dang place. So do they not own all BK's? Franchises are ok, but corporate BK's are off limits, and not in my area....

Am I understanding this right?

he is in wisconson
If corporate BK approves it then its fine at corporate stores
If a franchise store in our area says no then that franchise does not allow it

You see, the talk is cheap. They will tell you "no firearms" or they even send you an e-mail stating "no firearms. But, they would never post a sign "no firearms" at qll of their Burger Kings as a corporate policy. This is because such signs across the whole country will cause a noticeable drop in business, especially in more conservative rural and semi-rural areas. One might argue that drop might be small. But, even 0.5-1.0% drop equals to millions of dollars in lost revenue for a giant like BK.

So, for CC this does not matter. I bet that even OC will not be picked on in 95% of the cases.

The ICarry guys where on the phone with THEIR attorney for quite some time, they would rather loose the business.

If you put in your ZIP, and then select ALL stores, that will show you where the stores are in MI.

Burger King Corporate has no policy, they follow state law. The issue is only with the Heartland Wisconsin stores.

if the yoopers KNOW that the bk's in the area do not allow carry,i seriously think that those businesses would lose substantial money, possibly prompting at least one of the BK's in that area to close.
