Apologies if this has been posted, but I haven't seen it.

An elderly Washington man, suffering from Parkinson's and Diabetes, shoots a violent intruder.

Poor guy, glad he was able to do what he needed to do to survive..

".....very unlikely charges will be brought " against the homeowner, why are these statements even necessary, he nearly got his brains bashed out.

    Speaking of which...
I am not anti Cop I am just pro Citizen.

    U.S. v. Minker, 350 US 179, at page 187
"Because of what appears to be a lawful command on the surface, many citizens, because
of their respect for what only appears to be a law, are cunningly coerced into waiving their
    rights, due to ignorance." (Paraphrased)

I was wondering the same thing. It shouldn't even be considered. The man was obviously assaulted by an intruder.

Wow that guys poor head looked like he took a hit from a baseball bat. I am glad he was able to get out of this alive and put the bad guy down. Something tells me this crazy guy was on some drug or off of some drug. Just goes to show you never know what will happen even in your own home. :?
