I'd be looking at holding this get together around Saturday May 22nd. Range day could be held at Calibers (5600 Holly Ave NE in ABQ). Anyone know of any OC friendly places for lunch in the area?

The city range has more lanes, less restrictions and is cheaper, better option IMO. They don't allow open carry on the firing line though. It's off of paseo del vulcan a couple miles west of ABQ off I-40.

Can someone in NM tell me if the Village Inns (ABQ and Las Cruces) are "no guns" posted?

I am still trying to find out...and won't be back in NM to do it myself until my annual December trip back West to visit friends & family in ELP and ABQ (Rio Rancho).

That's sad, but you know, that's probably why a New Mexico Citizens Defense League (NMCDL) would work: Not enough committed people/participation. But even if it's only 2-3 people, the point is to START doing something...maybe it will grow.

Same thing happened in TX...we HAD a TCDL but it fell apart, partly because of the people running it gave up on it but I also think it was a lack of support/participation from members.

When I take my trip back West (ABQ & Rio Rancho) come December (if I survive this hurricane season) I'll post here asking if anyone (like you) wants to get together and OC somewhere to eat. Maybe we can get something going then. Even if it's only 2-3 people.
