    . . .

The Rochester Hills City Council plans to review an ordinance that bans people from bringing guns into city parks since it may be unenforceable under state law.

According to public documents on the city's Web site, the current ordinance prevents the possession of firearms in Rochester Hills parks. However, City Attorney John Staran determined that the ordinance can't be enforced since state law, which overrides local gun laws, allows firearms to be carried in parks.

Got this done in Texas and Kalamazoo Township parks, as well as Kalamazoo County Parks.

Don't these goobers ever talk to each other? And, where is the AG on this; I would think a simple directive would save a lot of time and effort.

    Carry on.
